编者按：  2020年注定是不平凡的一年。对于DIM来说，这是期刊正式创立的第四年，也是从草创步入规范，从稚嫩走向成熟的崭新起点。本期，我们隆重推出5篇议题新鲜有趣的论文，论文的作者都是大家熟悉的国际知名学者。其中，Jim Jansen是卡塔尔计算研究所社会计算小组教授、首席科学家，国际信息科学领域顶级期刊Information Processing and Management (IP&M) 主编。Edward A. Fox是弗吉尼亚理工大学计算机系教授，ACM和IEEE Fellow，“数字图书馆”这一概念的提出者。Javed Mostafa是北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校信息和图书馆学院杰出教授，国际信息科学领域顶级期刊Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology (JASIST) 主编。Wayne Graves是国际计算机学会ACM信息系统主任，ACM数字图书馆负责人。何大庆教授、刘晓钟教授、俞菲教授都是全球知名的信息科学领域华人学者，他们分别来自美国匹兹堡大学计算与信息学院、印第安纳大学伯明顿分校信息与计算学院、北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校。此外，还有来自美国洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室图书馆的Martin Klein 博士。
